I'm a lifestyle and portrait photographer and I am delighted that you're here.
My adoration for photography began when I was a child. My great-grandpa collected antique cameras (which I've now inherited.) that always peaked my curiosity. As a child, I would use whatever camera I could get my hands on to take pictures of any and everything. I won my first photography contest in 7th grade. In middle and high school, you could find me snapping yearbook content.
I have been behind the camera as long as I can remember, but I've been J. Sunshine Visuals since 2020. From the soft glow of golden hour to the candid laughter between loved ones, I strive to capture authentic emotions that make each image special. I believe in establishing a connection with every client so that our sessions together are comfortable and enjoyable - allowing everyone to be their true self.
Aside from a being a passionate photographer, I am a devoted wife to an amazing, hard-working husband and a nurturing parent to 4 children. I am a millennial mama and a forever college student - currently studying early childhood education.
